My walking tour of Ciutadella with Voyager Menorca was an absolute highlight of my trip, all thanks to our incredible guide, Daniel. His passion for his city is infectious, and he has a real gift for storytelling. This wasn't a boring history lesson; it felt like walking through the old town with a knowledgeable local friend.
Daniel's knowledge of Ciutadella's history is impressive. He brought the medieval streets, the stunning Gothic cathedral, and the stories of the old noble palaces to life with fascinating details and fun anecdotes that you'd never find in a guidebook. He guided us through the charming, narrow alleyways of the old town, pointing out hidden details, and finished our tour down at the picturesque old port.
What really set this tour apart was Daniel's warm and personal approach. He was engaging, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions. It was clear he genuinely loves his city and enjoys sharing it with visitors. He even gave us some fantastic recommendations for where to eat and drink like a local after the tour.
If you want to truly understand and appreciate the rich history and culture of Ciutadella, I cannot recommend this tour with Daniel and Voyager Menorca enough. It was worth every penny!

Daniel was a fantastic guide— he took us all over old town Ciutadella, and at the conclusion of our tour, I wanted to just keep walking all day with him. Such a lovely person, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the culture of Ciutadella and Menorca. We saw all the most important buildings and landmarks, but what really sets this tour apart, are the local tidbits of information Daniel offered up… many of which improved our experience during our remaining time in Menorca.
He knew lots of local shop and restaurant owners, and people he knew seemed to beam when they greeted him on the street :)
In those short interactions, Daniel spoke English, French, Spanish, and of course Menorcan/Catallan. It was impressive to watch and a testament to the lovely person he is.
